Description
This bid package covers complete, turnkey selective demolition for the Pender High School Food & Nutrition Lab Renovation. The work includes interior demolition of finishes, walls, doors and frames, casework, ceilings, accessories, and other items shown on the demolition documents; GPR scanning and removal of approximately 790 square feet of concrete slab; storefront opening preparation; temporary weathertight infill; protection of existing work; and salvage of designated items for the Owner. The subcontractor must also perform specified MEP demolition after other trades disconnect, cap, and make systems safe; provide dumpsters, hauling, disposal, daily cleanup, final broom cleaning, demolition submittals, and a pre-demolition photo/video survey. Bidders must be prequalified and submit a lump-sum bid using the provided bid form, including requested deductive and unit pricing, lead times, duration, crew size, exclusions, addenda acknowledgment, and required certifications. The package requires statutory workers' compensation, employer's liability, commercial general liability, automobile liability, and umbrella insurance, as well as background checks, E-Verify compliance, worker identification, and compliance with site safety and lead-paint requirements.
