Description
The City of Titusville is accepting applications from eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and public agencies for Community Development Block Grant public service funding for fiscal year 2027–2028. Proposed activities must serve residents within the incorporated City of Titusville, benefit low- and moderate-income persons, and address a CDBG national objective and applicable Consolidated Plan strategy. Eligible examples include services for homeless residents, meals on wheels for older adults, and vocational training for youth and adults. Applicants must request between $5,000 and approximately $37,500, demonstrate community need, explain the proposed program and measurable outcomes, provide a detailed program budget and organizational financial information, and identify leveraged funding. Awards are reimbursement-based and are subject to funding availability. The anticipated reporting period is October 1, 2027, through September 30, 2028, with funds expended by September 15, 2028. The application packet requires supporting organizational documentation, including nonprofit status, governance and staffing information, budgets, an audit or certified financial statement, and applicable certifications. New applicants, or organizations that have not received qualifying funding within the previous five years, must attend the technical assistance workshop. The submission requires one signed original, three copies, and one electronic copy on a flash drive, with responses typed in at least 12-point font and assembled using a single binder clip.
