Description
The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority's Engineering and Construction Department requires individual consultants or consultant teams, including prime consultants and subconsultants, to provide multidisciplinary professional design and engineering services for transit infrastructure under task work orders. Services may include architecture and planning; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, transportation, environmental, sustainable design, energy and fuel, geotechnical and materials, railroad track and signal, construction management, surveying, rolling stock and equipment inspection, fare collection, signal, train control, and communications services. Potential assignments include design, evaluations, studies, specifications, procurement support, inspections, testing, project and program controls, construction engineering and inspection, quality assurance, PMO support, and related technical assistance. Q&A clarifies that transportation modeling may address both traffic and transit operations, PMO work may include scheduling, cost control, risk management, document control, governance, reporting, and construction oversight, and proposals should address both overall staffing/resource capabilities and innovative approaches for potential assignments. Financial information must be submitted separately through the procurement platform and will be kept confidential. The technical proposal is limited to 25 pages, with an 11-by-17-inch page permitted only for the organizational chart and counted as one page; smaller fonts may be used in tables, charts, figures, captions, footnotes, and other graphics.
