Description
The Oxnard Housing Authority is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a 9,379-square-foot, two-story multi-family apartment building with 8 units for affordable living at 1361-1375 Althea Court in Oxnard, California. The project includes sitework such as a 3-bin trash enclosure and EV charging stations with parking modifications. Contractors must possess a valid California State Contractor's Class B license at the time of bid submission and obtain a City of Oxnard Business Tax Certificate by contract award. Bid, payment, and performance bonds are required. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon wage requirements and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act. The estimated construction cost is between $3,000,000 and $4,000,000. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 10, 2026 at 9:00 AM at the project location. Bids are due by 3:00 PM on November 9, 2026.
