Description

The County seeks a qualified, properly licensed vendor to provide as-needed collection, packaging, transportation, treatment, incineration, and disposal of biohazardous, infectious, and regulated medical waste; formalin-preserved tissue specimens; and specified chemical waste. The vendor must provide appropriate containers, liners, labels, packaging materials, equipment, and replacement supplies, and must furnish required manifests and proof-of-disposal documentation. Services include routine, emergency, special, and additional pickups at designated county departments and facilities. Vendors must have at least three years of relevant experience and maintain required licenses, permits, registrations, and insurance, including registration as a transporter of untreated medical waste with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. An active SAM.gov registration and valid Unique Entity ID are also required at bid submission.
