Description

Hidalgo County seeks a contractor for preconstruction and construction services for a wellness center. The work includes site demolition and preparation, underground utilities and drainage, paving, foundations, a pre-engineered metal building, structural and architectural construction, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems, landscaping, and related site improvements. The proposal must include a project schedule, pricing with material and labor detail, comparable project experience, staffing and subcontractor information, and the specified construction management and closeout approaches. The project schedule calls for completion within 300 calendar days after the written Notice to Proceed. The project includes a $100,000 contingency allowance and a $150,000 landscape and irrigation allowance; the proposal form also requests pricing for a mezzanine alternate and a landscaping alternate. A 5% bid bond is required, and payment and performance bonds may be required under applicable law.
