Description
Chatham County is soliciting proposals from qualified nonprofit, for-profit, and governmental service providers to implement and manage an evidence-based Children in Need of Services (CHINS) grant program. The program will provide intensive, strength-based, family-centered, in-home wraparound services for youth ages 11–17 who face behavioral, educational, family, or status-offense-related challenges and are at risk of deeper juvenile justice involvement. The selected provider will oversee evidence-based interventions, comprehensive case management, family needs assessments, individualized service plans, crisis intervention, parent coaching, school collaboration, behavioral-health and community-resource referrals, facilitator recruitment and training, program-fidelity monitoring, data collection, outcome reporting, stakeholder coordination, and subcontractor/provider oversight. Services are expected to serve at least 35 youth during the grant period, with each case generally lasting three months and potentially extending to four months. The proposal must address organizational qualifications, technical approach, MBE/WBE participation, references, and pricing, including costs per youth and/or session.
