Description
The Downtown Redevelopment Authority / TIRZ #3 is seeking a multidisciplinary design consultant to advance Cool & Connected Corridors Phase 02 from existing concepts and Phase 01 standards through implementable design. The work will address targeted downtown streets, sidewalks, Buffalo Bayou access points and trail connections, pedestrian connectivity, ADA accessibility, safety, wayfinding, gateway treatments, landscaping, tree canopy, shade structures, pedestrian lighting, irrigation, structural elements, and related public-realm improvements. The selected consultant will perform field verification and existing-conditions analysis; refine conceptual and schematic designs; prepare permitting, bidding, procurement, fabrication, and construction documentation; develop cost estimates and presentation materials; coordinate required professional disciplines and agencies; support two public engagement events and two committee or board presentations; and produce an updated Cool & Connected Corridors design-standards package. Qualifications must include a letter of interest and availability, proposed scope, schedule and deliverables, consultant and team information, key-personnel identification and resumes, at least three comparable urban project examples with hyperlinks, and three client reference letters. The submission is limited to 20 pages and must be a single digital PDF.
