Description

The City of Bainbridge, Georgia is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a comprehensive citywide sidewalk inventory and assessment. This project aims to establish a detailed understanding of existing pedestrian infrastructure, including conditions, ADA compliance, network gaps, and connectivity throughout the city. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing a GIS-based inventory, assessing sidewalk conditions, performing an ADA accessibility audit, identifying network gaps, analyzing pedestrian connectivity, prioritizing rehabilitation and future improvements, and providing implementation recommendations with cost estimates. The scope of services includes project management and coordination, a detailed inventory of sidewalks and related infrastructure, condition assessment, ADA and PROWAG compliance review, gap analysis of the pedestrian network, walkability analysis, and the development of a prioritization strategy with planning-level cost estimates.
