Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through the Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation, is soliciting proposals for mapping services. This includes aerial photography, surveying, and mapping services for projects related to the reclamation of abandoned mine lands, control of subsurface mine fires, abatement of acid mine drainage, waterline extensions, and flood protection projects. The majority of these projects are located in the Bituminous coal fields of Western Pennsylvania and the Anthracite coal fields of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Commonwealth intends to retain approximately two firms to provide these services.
