The State of California, Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms for on-call land surveying services for District 8. The estimated contract value ranges from $2,428,285 to $3,945,963 over an estimated four-year term. This solicitation covers a variety of land surveying tasks to support Caltrans' Division of Right of Way and Land Surveys, District 8. Services will be assigned via Task Orders and may include control surveys, engineering surveys, as-built surveys, pavement surveys, and surveys for environmental studies and construction staking. The work will be performed in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, California, and may extend into adjoining districts or counties within a 30-mile radius. Key requirements include the submission of detailed SOQs, adherence to specific personnel qualifications, and compliance with state and federal regulations. The solicitation also addresses the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and requires disclosure of its use. Interviews for shortlisted firms will be held in person.
