Description
The North Carolina Geodetic Survey (NCGS), part of the Department of Public Safety's Emergency Management and Hazard Mitigation Program Support, is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify qualified private surveying firms for aerial imagery quality control (QC) surveys. These services will support the Statewide Digital Orthoimagery Project, which aims to collect seamless aerial imagery for use by local 911 agencies, government bodies, and the public. The selected firms will perform horizontal and vertical QC surveys adhering to HMPS-NCGS standards and specifications. Deliverables include weekly project status reports, recovery and field notes for geodetic monuments, QC point data in Excel spreadsheets, photographs of QC points, and signed reports of work performed. The contract term will be three years from the effective date of final execution.
