Description
The National Institutes of Health seeks a sole-source, firm-fixed-price turnkey upgrade of two existing Siemens MAGNETOM Terra MRI systems to Terra.X configuration. The scope includes two Terra.X platform upgrade packages, two Advanced 8Tx32Rx head coils, two gradient performance packages, 24 hours of onsite clinical education for each system, project management, and a comprehensive technical compliance breakdown. Ancillary services include OEM technical installation and software/hardware integration; heavy rigging, transport, crane operations, permits, structural shoring, and mechanical placement; and examination-bay preparation, RF/EMI shielding, structural anchoring, and wall and ceiling patching. The offeror must provide itemized pricing for all line items and sub-items 5A through 5C, a matching grand total, commercial price-support documentation, a completed and signed FAR 52.222-48 SCLS Exemption Certification, a completed and signed FAR 52.225-6 TAA Certification, an approved OEM Commercial Subcontracting Plan, an active UEI, and a technical compliance submission. The opportunity is restricted to a sole-source negotiation with Siemens Healthineers as the identified OEM.
