Description
The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction, on behalf of the Board of Regents and Texas A&M University, is soliciting statements of qualifications from an Architect/Engineer firm for the Cyclotron Institute Expansion in College Station, Texas. The project envisions a new addition southwest of the existing facility to expand beamline testing capabilities, accommodate the future installation of a new spectrometer, support radiation-effects testing, chip design and fabrication, and enhance workforce development programs. The solicitation identifies architectural and engineering disciplines including civil, field, fire protection, geotechnical, mechanical, security systems, and structural engineering. The project planning amount is $28,100,000, including an Amount Available for Construction Contract of $23,491,568. This RFQ is the first step in the selection process; the owner may invite three or more of the highest-ranked qualified respondents to present their qualifications during interviews. Qualifications must be submitted through e-Builder.
