Description
South Tippah School District is soliciting contractor bids for the Tippah County Technical Center Building Addition in Ripley, Mississippi. Bid preparation must follow Section 00 21 13, Instructions to Bidders, in the Project Manual. The successful contractor must comply with Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders may submit either a sealed bid or an electronic bid through the designated planroom. Each proposal must include proposal security of at least five percent of the base bid in the form of a certified check or acceptable bid bond. A 100% performance-payment bond will be required within ten days after award. Prime and subcontractor bids exceeding $50,000 must include the contractor’s current Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility number, or the applicable statement for bids not exceeding $50,000; electronic bidders must provide this information as an attachment.
