Description
Lee County School District is soliciting lump-sum bids from general contractors for modernization of the elevator at Saltillo High School. Bidders must provide all labor and materials required by the drawings and Project Manual and must prepare bids in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids may be submitted in a sealed envelope or electronically. Proposal security in the form of a certified check or acceptable bid bond equal to at least 5% of the base bid is required. The successful bidder must provide a 100% performance-payment bond within 10 days after notification of award. Bids must remain firm for 45 days after opening. For bids exceeding $50,000, the contractor's current Certificate of Responsibility number must be included as specified; electronic bids must include that information as an attachment.
