Description
The Aberdeen School District requires an independent audit of its financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. The audit must be conducted in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and Government Auditing Standards. The engagement includes expressing opinions on the fair presentation of the governmental activities, each major fund, and the aggregate remaining fund information. The auditor will also issue reports on internal control over financial reporting and compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, and grant agreements. Additionally, the auditor must perform a single audit in accordance with the Uniform Guidance, including testing compliance with federal program requirements and issuing a report on internal control over compliance. The audit will cover the financial statements, required supplementary information, and supplementary schedules such as the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards.
