Description
This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract for dental water testing services. The services will be provided at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the Milo C. Huempfner VA Healthcare Center dental clinics in Milwaukee and Green Bay, Wisconsin. The contract is anticipated to be awarded to HGS Engineering, Inc., a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This procurement is being conducted under statutory authority Public Law 109 Sec. 502 and VAAR 819.7008, which allows for sole-source awards to eligible SDVOSBs when it is in the best interest of the government and the anticipated award price does not exceed $5 million. A determination that only one SDVOSB can meet the requirement is not necessary for this type of award.
