Description
The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) is seeking authorized distributors to provide, install, configure, and commission a Carl Zeiss Visulas Combi YAG/Green ophthalmic laser system. The scope of work includes delivery of the unit and accessories, installation, testing, calibration, configuration, verification of system performance, safety checks, and staff training. The system must meet specific equipment specifications and installation requirements, including room suitability verification, beam alignment, and safety interlock confirmation. A minimum 12-month warranty and service response requirements are also stipulated. The system must comply with FDA guidelines and ANSI Z136.1 laser safety standards. The vendor will be responsible for delivery, installation, training, and documentation, while the FHCC will provide access and room readiness. Acceptance criteria include the completion of installation, calibration, and training. The period of performance for delivery and installation is to be determined, with training to occur within a specified number of days post-installation. VAAR 852.212-71 GRAY MARKET ITEMS will apply.
