Description
Dane County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide Architectural/Engineering (A/E) services for the design and construction of airport hangar buildings at Dane County Regional Airport (MSN). This project is intended to support the airport's long-term growth and revenue generation by developing one or multiple hangar facilities. The selected firm will be responsible for design and construction of hangar buildings, including site preparation, taxilane improvements, and environmental documentation. The project is anticipated to be funded through the FAA's Airport Improvement Program (AIP) or Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), with potential FAA funding up to 90%. Firms must have demonstrated experience in hangar building design/construction, site development, NEPA documentation, stakeholder coordination, and FAA-funded projects. The project may be delivered using Design-Bid-Build or Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) methods. Collaboration with potential tenants and coordination with the Wisconsin Bureau of Aeronautics (BOA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be integral to the project.
