Description
The Town of Cary is soliciting bids for new, unused replacement parts and components to refurbish two 2.0 AquaBelt 96 gravity belt thickeners at the North Cary Water Reclamation Facility. Requested materials include gear units with AC motors, tension, tracking, and drive roll assemblies, belts, hydraulic cylinders, valves and pumps, spray pipe assemblies, switches, wear plates and strips, scraper blades, rubber seals, and steering components. Most Attachment 1 quantities are for two units, confirmed to cover two separate machines. Bidders must themselves be authorized dealers for all materials provided; purchasing genuine Alfa Laval parts through an authorized distribution channel alone is insufficient. Materials must be new, properly packaged, delivered to the facility, and covered by a minimum one-year warranty beginning on delivery. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Proposal Form with itemized pricing, delivery information, parts-support availability, and confirmation that the products meet the specifications. Any exceptions must have been submitted during the question-and-answer period and approved by addendum, then explained in the bid.
