Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting dental laboratory services for eligible dental patients of the Ralph H. Johnson VA Healthcare System. Required work includes crowns, bridges, fixed and removable prosthodontics, complete and partial dentures, dental implant prostheses, surgical and radiographic guides, occlusal and athletic guards, sleep apnea appliances, repairs, relines, rebases, tooth additions, prosthesis modifications, custom abutments, and other services listed in the price schedule. The line-item quantities are estimates, and there is no guaranteed minimum. The contractor must provide labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and twice-daily pickup and delivery Monday through Friday, with holiday coverage and specified turnaround times ranging from 24 hours to less than four weeks. Digital and traditional impressions may be used, and medical-grade sleep apnea appliances are required. The contract is a firm-fixed-price, total small-business set-aside with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. A local partner arrangement is acceptable, subject to the limitations on subcontracting.
