Description
United Independent School District is selling, through a sealed-bid process, the surface estate of two lots in James Haynes Industrial Park, together with the UISD Curriculum and Instruction Building, four 64-by-24-foot portable buildings, a 60-by-16-foot mobile home, and any UISD interest in a billboard sign and related lease, subject to the lessee's consent. Addendum One clarifies that UISD personal property, including office equipment, electronics, furniture, vehicles, and supplies, is excluded, except for the expressly included portable buildings, mobile home, and billboard interest. The property is offered collectively on an as-is, where-is, with-all-faults basis through a no-warranty deed, bill of sale, and assignment of lease. The minimum bid is $3,215,000, and a $96,450 cashier's-check bid guarantee is required by the submission deadline. Bidders must submit the specified bid forms, certifications, agreements, title commitment, listing agreement, license and release agreement, release and indemnification agreement, and any required entity-authority documentation. The successful bidder must pay the purchase price at closing by wire transfer or cashier's check and obtain the owner's title policy at its own expense.
