Description
The City of Cape Girardeau is offering approximately 313 acres of agricultural farmland adjacent to Cape Girardeau Regional Airport for lease. The lease term runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2032, and is subject to Federal Aviation Administration regulations and the terms of the proposed lease. The lease will be awarded to the highest bidder. The selected lessee must enter into a written lease agreement within ten days after award and maintain liability insurance of at least $532,148 per person and $3,547,658 per accident involving injury, death, or property damage to more than one person, with annual increases as specified in the lease. A financial statement may be required before award. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled, and paper bids must be submitted by the stated deadline.
