Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Coleman, requires three 53-foot freezer trailers for lease, setup, and maintenance. Trailers must operate primarily on electricity with diesel backup, use roll-up doors, and maintain temperatures from -10 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit for frozen-food storage. The contractor must provide routine inspections, preventive maintenance, refrigeration and electrical-system servicing, temperature monitoring, tire and brake checks, component replacement, quarterly service, emergency repairs within two hours of notification, and service documentation. The scope also includes service-call coverage, a quality assurance plan, access and background-clearance requirements for personnel entering the secure facility, and compliance with applicable environmental and institutional regulations. The contract is a firm-fixed-price commercial-items requirement with a base period and four option periods.
