Description
This Sources Sought notice requests capability information, not proposals, for repairs to two emergency generators and associated paralleling switchgear at a Veterans Affairs medical center. The work would restore full emergency backup power and includes replacing damaged MFR13 and reverse-power relays with new protective relays, programming the replacement relays, modifying doors and wiring, and updating system drawings. The anticipated work also includes testing the generator control panels, providing a 125% load bank, testing and verifying paralleling operation for two 1,500 kW generators, changing generator priority to verify online and load-shedding functions, and completing an integrated emergency-power-system test. Work is expected over two separate weekends, with a 90-calendar-day period of performance including equipment and material lead time, and a one-year warranty covering materials and labor.
