Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting firm-fixed-price quotes for two vertical turbine pumps and one totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) electric AC motor. The pumps must meet detailed specifications, including a two-stage bowl assembly, 5,280 GPM flow, 105 feet total dynamic head, specified materials, dimensions, shafting, bearings, strainer, and discharge-head characteristics. Brand-name-or-equal products are permitted for the pumps. The motor requirement is one General Electric vertical hollow-shaft, high-thrust motor, model 5KS449SAJ7040 or equal, rated at 200 horsepower, 460 volts, 60 hertz, 1,200 RPM, frame L449TP16, and NEMA TEFC. Motor installation is not required. The quote must include pricing, technical product documentation and cut sheets, an item breakdown, manufacturer authorization if applicable, a self-certification of compliance, delivery information, and warranty information. Delivery is required within 120 days after receipt of order.
