Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting repair and overhaul services for gas turbine power units, part number 3800702-1 and NSN 2835-01-573-3495. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary to overhaul, upgrade, repair, inspect, test, and return the units to a ready-for-issue condition. Work includes disassembly, component repair or replacement, reassembly, testing, inspection, and compliance with the applicable Honeywell drawing, repair manuals, specifications, and technical publications. The required repair turnaround time is 34 days after receipt, with transaction reporting through the Commercial Asset Visibility system. The contractor must establish throughput capacity, perform work at its identified repair facility, maintain approved repair and inspection procedures, provide quality systems meeting ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100 requirements, maintain calibration controls, and provide enclosed storage for assets awaiting repair or shipment. The contractor is responsible for necessary parts and materials unless specifically identified as government-furnished, and must comply with applicable marking and packaging requirements.
