Description
Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation, doing business as IndyGo, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for complete demolition of the connected C-1 and C-2 buildings at its East Campus. C-1 is an approximately 11,200-square-foot single-story building, and C-2 is a two-story building with approximately 6,000 square feet per floor. The buildings are constructed of block and concrete, and no abatement is required. The scope includes demolition and removal of the buildings, breezeway, sidewalks, awnings, foundations, slabs, pavement, site improvements, debris, and below-grade structures; utility disconnection and capping for water and electrical services; required structural protection, shoring, fencing, dust control, erosion and sediment control, waste handling, permits, grading, backfill, and final seeding and stabilization of the lot. Addendum 2 clarifies that the contractor must include supplemental asbestos sampling and disposal in its lump-sum bid, remove and dispose of identified asbestos-containing materials, and assume existing disconnected utilities remain for removal. The project is anticipated to begin in February 2027. Bidders must acknowledge all issued addenda and submit the required bid forms, bid security, payment and performance bond commitment, subcontractor and supplier information, participation documentation, and experience questionnaires.
