Description
The City seeks a general contractor to remove and replace the existing roofing system with a new PVC single-ply roof, insulation, drainage components, flashing, and related accessories. Work also includes replacing designated roof beams, purlins, and framing; repairing damaged roof decking as authorized; and installing roof drains, overflow drains, gutters, and downspouts. The project also includes replacing exterior hollow-metal doors and frames, infilling designated window openings, and restoring affected interior and exterior finishes. Associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work includes removing or reinstalling rooftop equipment and utilities, making required modifications, and completing design-build coordination. Bidders must price specified alternates and unit-price roof-deck work and account for federal requirements, including Build America, Buy America compliance and prevailing wages.
