Description
The Miami Downtown Redevelopment Authority seeks a contractor to repair three roof sections at the Coleman Theatre. Work includes preparing the existing roof, furnishing and installing 1½-inch polyiso insulation and a fully adhered 60-mil TPO membrane, heat-welding seams, and flashing HVAC curbs and other penetrations. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision. The completed work must include at least a five-year labor warranty and a 20-year materials warranty. Bidders must submit pricing for the listed roof areas and complete the required bid and qualification forms. Bid security equal to 5% of the bid is required. The selected contractor must provide performance and payment bonds and specified insurance after award; these are post-award requirements, not proposal submittals. The contract form states that work must be completed within one calendar month after the Notice to Proceed, while the solicitation also says the work period will be coordinated with the project manager and engineer.
