Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is soliciting a replacement for the existing hot water storage tank at the Montford Unit. The work includes disconnecting and removing the existing tank, disposing of it, supplying and installing a 1,000-gallon Precision hot water boiler storage tank (model V6092-150C-IJ, or an approved equal), and reconnecting the piping. Damaged insulation within 10 feet of the tank must also be reinsulated. The bid must include a product and equipment delivery schedule and product submittals, including catalog data, cut sheets, ratings, dimensions, and documentation demonstrating compliance with the specifications. The scope includes field services and construction or installation as specified in the attached technical documents.
