Description
The City of Lubbock is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the construction of Pump Station 11B. The work requires furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and related services in accordance with the project plans, specifications, drawings, and contract documents. The estimated construction-phase budget is $28,000,000. Proposals will be evaluated on price, contractor qualifications, and construction time. The contractor must propose completion times not exceeding 700 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion and 730 consecutive calendar days to final completion. The solicitation requires a 5% proposal security and, when applicable based on the contract value, 100% performance and payment bonds. Required response materials include the proposal submittal form, bid table, contractor statement of qualifications, safety record questionnaire, insurance affidavit, proposed subcontractor list, non-collusion affidavit, and applicable certifications and questionnaires. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, automobile liability, excess liability, and workers’ compensation coverage, with specified limits and endorsements.
