The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting offers for approximately 6,384 usable square feet of commercial retail or office space within a one-quarter-mile radius of 5604 Slide Road in Lubbock, Texas, and within ZIP Code 79414. The space must support an Armed Forces Career Center and include a secondary egress, parking for 18 government-owned vehicles at all times, additional employee and customer parking within four blocks, high-visibility signage, and compatibility with specified surrounding businesses. The lessor must provide the premises, utilities and maintenance required by the lease, and comply with extensive accessibility, fire/life-safety, HVAC, construction, security, telecommunications, and facility standards. The scope also includes tenant improvements and build-out, architectural and engineering drawings, a certificate of occupancy, video intercom entry control, CCTV/NVR systems, security and communications infrastructure, signage, furnishings and finishes specified for military service offices, and ongoing maintenance. Daytime janitorial services are required three times weekly, with trash removal, floor and restroom cleaning, window cleaning, supplies, periodic deep carpet cleaning, HVAC intake cleaning, and other scheduled services. Offers must include the completed Rental Proposal Worksheet, proof of active SAM registration including an active CAGE code, and the existing floor plan; the offer deadline is October 30, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
