Description
The City seeks a qualified firm to administer its workers’ compensation claims. The attached claims administration standards describe expectations for claims handling, case review and documentation, claimant communications, compensability decisions, reserves, benefit and medical payments, disability management, litigation, subrogation, and excess-coverage reporting. The fee proposal requests pricing for setup, participant administration, notifications, billing and remittance, reports, and other listed services. The proposed agreement provides for an initial two-year term, with up to three additional one-year renewal options at the City’s discretion. The sample agreement requires the selected consultant to obtain and maintain specified insurance before beginning services; it also restricts subcontracting without the City’s written approval. These are proposed contract terms, not submission-time requirements.
