Description
The Los Angeles County Office of Education seeks temporary personnel to provide custodial services when its staff are unavailable. Work is on an as-needed basis and may be scheduled any day or time of the week. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing facilities, floor and carpet care, window and surface cleaning, restroom servicing, waste collection and disposal, and preparing spaces for meetings or conferences. Bidders must provide hourly, daily, and weekly labor rates and a composite weekly cost for evaluation. The bid package also requires a bid security of at least 10% of the bid amount. The selected contractor will provide temporary personnel who are its employees; subcontracting requires prior written approval. The contract sample states an initial term through June 30, 2027, with possible annual renewals for up to four additional years.
