The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George is soliciting proposals for the demolition and removal of the existing caretaker house located at Giscome Portage Regional Park Huble Homestead Historic Site, 15000 Mitchell Road, Summit Lake, BC. The scope of work includes the safe demolition and removal of the building structure, management and disposal of demolition materials, and protection and retention of the existing foundation where directed. The retained foundation will serve as the base for a new insulated seacan, which must accommodate wiring for a solar battery system.
