The Ministry of Forests, BC Wildfire Service is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to retrofit a hangar wall at the Mackenzie Fire Zone base in Mackenzie, British Columbia. This project includes the removal of the existing bi-fold hangar door and the construction of a new framed wall assembly. The new assembly will incorporate commercial roll-up doors and fixed windows to meet current operational needs, aiming to enhance building reliability, thermal performance, security, and staff safety, while also ensuring compliance with codes and standards and reducing long-term maintenance. The anticipated term for this contract is from the date of execution to November 30th, 2026.
