Description
The Washington State Department of Retirement Systems is seeking a certified court reporting organization to provide legal, court-certified reporting services for its Appeals Unit. Services include reporting pre-hearing conferences, oral arguments, and hearings; electronically supported proceedings using Zoom or another web-based service; and transcription of electronically recorded proceedings. Services must be available statewide in Washington when in-person reporting is required, generally during regular business hours, with certified transcripts delivered within ten business days after each proceeding. Respondents must be certified to work in Washington, have at least five years of court-reporting experience, be licensed to conduct business in Washington, and address technical capabilities, qualifications, relevant experience, public-sector experience, staffing, pricing, data security, and restrictions on artificial intelligence and automated speech-recognition tools. The initial contract period runs from execution through December 30, 2029, with an option to extend for up to three additional years.
