Description
This solicitation is for the reformation of eight existing 0.25-acre catfish ponds located at the USDA-ARS Warmwater Aquaculture Research Unit in Stoneville, Mississippi. The project objective is to re-form the ponds by leveling the pond bottoms to the bottom of the north drain pipe locations and grading the sideslopes to a 4:1 ratio, with a finished top width of at least 20 feet for ingress and egress. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, materials, labor, and tools necessary to complete the work, including the use of bio-based products to the maximum extent possible. A Site Safety Specific Plan/Accident Prevention Plan must be submitted within 7 days of contract award. The project completion time is 120 days from the Notice to Proceed, with work hours scheduled Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM CDT, excluding Government holidays. Any damage to Government property caused by the contractor's activities must be repaired or replaced to the satisfaction of the Government. The contractor must also provide their own restroom facility and dumpster, and remove all debris off-site.
