Description
The City of Aumsville is soliciting bids for the Aumsville Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project. The project involves significant upgrades to the existing facility. Key components of the work include site stabilization using rammed aggregate piers, construction of a new elevated headworks with a mechanically cleaned screen, and the addition of two new sequencing batch reactor basins, a new equalization basin, and a blower building. Additionally, the project scope includes constructing a new chlorine contact chamber, a new dissolved air floatation clarifier in a new building, new chemical feed equipment, and a new irrigation/DAF feed pump station. New electrical power distribution and control equipment will be installed, along with grading, paving, site piping, and instrumentation work. The City has pre-procured specific equipment, including sequencing batch reactor equipment from Xylem Water Solutions, USA, and dissolved air floatation equipment from Krofta Technologies, LLC. These procurement contracts will be assigned to the selected contractor, who will then be responsible for the performance of the sellers as a subcontractor or supplier.
