The New Jersey League of Municipalities is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to be responsible for the operation and maintenance of their sewer collection facilities, ensuring the protection of public health and the environment. The role involves conducting facility inspections, preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Executive Director, managing staff, and recommending budgets and staffing levels. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for hands-on training of personnel, conducting performance reviews, and recommending personnel actions. Additionally, the position requires performing all duties as the Licensed Collection System Operator for the Authority as required by the NJDEP and attending monthly Board meetings. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma, five years of supervisory or professional management experience in a wastewater collection system of similar or larger size, experience with heavy equipment operation (backhoe, front-end loader), a CDL, and a C4 license. The position is in-person, with hours from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and offers a salary range of $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, pension, and paid time off.
