Description
The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury is soliciting sealed proposals for residential solid waste collection and disposal services. The contract will be awarded to a licensed contractor with expertise in Industrial Cleaning & Material Waste Handling or Hazardous Waste Treatment or Removal. Proposals must be plainly marked with the solicitation number RFP-2026-PW-143 and the contractor's license number. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Central Time Zone in the Police Jury Meeting Room at 1015 Pithon Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana 70601. Minority-owned firms and small businesses are encouraged to participate. The successful proposer will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the first year's contract amount.
