Description
This solicitation is for American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter services for the Indian Health Service, Portland Area Office, Western Oregon Service Unit, located in Salem, Oregon. The services will primarily be in-person, supporting scheduled clinical encounters at the Chemawa Indian Health Center. Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) will be available as a backup when in-person interpreters cannot be furnished. The contractor must meet HIPAA/privacy requirements, maintain interpreter qualifications, support a 72-hour advance notice model, and adhere to performance standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement. The anticipated period of performance includes a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, starting July 15, 2026. The place of performance is the Western Oregon Service Unit, Chemawa Indian Health Center, 3750 Chemawa Road NE, Salem, Oregon 97305. This requirement is set aside exclusively for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) under the Buy Indian Act. Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov and submit an IHS Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form with their quotation.
