Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids for waste disposal and pickup services at the Texas Center for Infectious Disease (TCID). The contract will involve providing seven 4-yard bins and two 40-yard bins, with weekly collection of refuse for all occupied buildings. The contractor will own the bins, distribute and maintain them, and be responsible for repairs or replacements due to normal wear and tear or damage from negligence or misuse. The contractor will also make 30 and 40-yard bins available upon request. Services are to be performed Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time, with a response time of four hours for service calls. The contract term is from the date of award until August 31, 2028, with no renewals specified.
