Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking quotations for two units of silver nitrate applicators under NSN 6505-00-299-9672, one for each of two purchase requests. Each applicator consists of a fused mixture of 75% silver nitrate and 25% potassium nitrate, is for topical use only, and is supplied in a container containing 100 applicators. The item is FDA-regulated and has a 24-month, non-extendable shelf-life requirement. The supplies must be delivered within 20 days after order, with destination inspection and acceptance. Packaging, preservation, marking, and shipment must comply with the stated medical and hazardous-material requirements, including commercial packaging, Medical Marking Standard No. 1, applicable hazardous-material regulations, and provision of a current Material Safety Data Sheet. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by the stated return date.
