Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for five packages of disposable surgical scrub brush-sponges under NSN 6530-01-519-5786. The item is a disposable, non-irrigating surgical scrub brush with bristles on a foam sponge backing, impregnated with 4% chlorhexidine gluconate solution, and includes a plastic nail cleaner. The unit of issue is a package of 25 each. The supplies must have a 20-month non-extendable shelf life, with no more than three months elapsed from manufacture to delivery. Packaging, marking, palletization, medical marking, and commercial shipping requirements apply, and delivery is FOB destination within 20 days after order. Alternate offers require complete technical data, including the source and part number offered. The item is FDA-regulated and subject to applicable registration, listing, labeling, and good manufacturing practice requirements.
