Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requires commercial vegetative management and aerial (helicopter) herbicide application services at the Wilson Lake Project in Sylvan Grove, Kansas. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, and materials to aerially spot-spray up to 450 acres of invasive Phragmites sp. along approximately 50 miles of shoreline. Required materials include contractor-furnished, aquatic-labeled Imazapyr and Methylated Seed Oil (MSO). The anticipated Period of Performance is from July 10 to October 15. Quotes must be submitted electronically via email to cade.s.zelinsky@usace.army.mil by the date and time listed in Block 8 of the SF 1449. Quotes must be valid for at least 90 days from the due date. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-aside with NAICS code 115112 (Soil Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating) and a size standard of $9.5 Million. The Product/Service Code is F001 - Natural Resources/Conservation - Aerial Fertilization/Spraying.
