Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, is seeking information and potential qualified sources capable of providing Automated Endoscope Leak Testers for the Leavenworth and Topeka VA Medical Centers. This is a brand name or equal requirement, based on the ALT-Pro Automated Endoscope Leak Tester system by Olympus America Inc. The system should be capable of testing up to two endoscopes simultaneously using dry air leak testing. It must feature an easy-to-read LCD, integrated RFID reader with data storage and export capabilities, and support both automatic and manual testing modes. A built-in self-check is required to verify system operation. The system must be compatible with major flexible endoscope brands. The requirement includes six units in total (three for Leavenworth VAMC and three for Topeka VAMC), along with six wall-mount holders. The vendor will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, and comprehensive on-site training for up to 15 clinical staff. Post-installation support, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance guidance, is also required.
