Description
The Virginia Department of Forestry is soliciting bids for pre-harvest herbicide treatments to control non-native invasive species (NNIP). The project area is approximately 45 acres located within the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests, Mount Rogers National Recreational Area (USFS-MRNRA) in Wythe County, Virginia. This area is managed by the Commonwealth of Virginia - Department of Forestry under a Good Neighbor Agreement (GNA) for the Ewing Mountain #121259 within the Fry Hill timber sale area. Treatment will occur along CC Camp Road, Cripple Creek Road, FS road #4053 (decommissioned), and other adjacent areas as indicated on the attached maps. Bidders must demonstrate working experience and knowledge in performing these types of treatments.
